Further information

The National ISBN Agency for Serbia has noticed that there has been a significant increase in the number of 5th group publishers since the beginning of the 1990ies. This trend has continued into the year 2000 and beyond. Apparently there is a serious problem of publishing in Serbia, since a large fraction of authors decides to publish their own books, as they find that the terms offered by the publishing companies are unsatisfactory.

Since march 2005 the National Agency of Serbia and Montenegro has been separated into two National Agencies, the National Agency of Serbia and the National Agency of Montenegro.
